Sally and Pamela Brown were two of eleven siblings living in Plymouth Notch in the 19th Century. This compilation of their diaries documents the day-to-day life they shared in the then-future hometown of President Calvin Coolidge in the first half of the century. Also included is the diary of Hyde Leslie, a farmhand who worked on the Brown farm in 1887. All three accounts paint an authentic, true to live experience of Vermont farming.
